Rukmini Baruah is a Digital Product and Transformation leader with a strong foundation in product management and operations, with deep roots in the technology and startup ecosystem. With over 15 years of experience building high-performing teams and scaling organizations from early stage to IPO, she is known for turning strategy into execution and systems into growth. She has built Product Operations from the ground up at unicorn startup Carbon Health, guided HyreCar from startup to a successful IPO on NASDAQ, and led Firefly’s national expansion across multiple markets - driving innovation, operational excellence, and measurable impact at every stage of scale.

Deeply engaged in the evolving field of AI, Rukmini focuses on how emerging technologies can advance equitable, human-centered innovation. She is the creator of TaraAI, an inclusive AI teaching assistant for neurodiverse learners and Winner of Top AI Idea 2025 by Product Faculty - judged by leaders from Menlo Ventures, Spotify, Netflix, and OpenAI. Alongside building TaraAI, she advises an AI SEO startup on product development and contributes to global AI communities and tech talks, helping founders and product leaders adopt technology thoughtfully and with integrity.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Rukmini finds her greatest joy in being the mom to her seven-year-old son. A lifelong learner and trained Bharatanatyam dancer, she brings empathy, curiosity, and purpose to everything she builds - whether leading teams, growing startups, or creating systems that amplify human potential.
