Heather Wellington is a global marketing executive with over 17 years of experience in B2B technology marketing, specializing in IT software and cloud services. She has a proven track record of driving growth and implementing data-driven strategies across mid-late stage startups and Fortune 500 companies, including Adeptia, Red Hat, Sauce Labs, Confluent and Sun Microsystems.

She is currently serving as a marketing advisor and consultant for early to mid-stage companies. Previously she was Vice President, Marketing at Adeptia, responsible for leading their digital marketing and demand generation teams. She’s a lifelong learner, passionate about marketing and has held leadership roles across Product Marketing, Growth & Lifecycle Marketing, and Partner Marketing.

Known for her empathetic leadership and player-coach mentality, Heather excels in building high-performing teams and aligning marketing strategies with business objectives. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from California State University, Long Beach. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, exploring the hiking trails, rivers or lakes in Northern California.
