SVP, AI Editorial Strategy; Editor-at-LargeCNETConnie Guglielmo is a longtime business technology reporter and editor based in Silicon Valley. Before shifting to a role as editor at large and AI columnist for CNET in December 2024, Connie was a senior vice president at CNET focused on AI editorial strategy. Before that, she served as editor in chief of CNET for a decade, overseeing an award-winning team of reporters, editors and photojournalists producing original content about the intersection of technology and life. A veteran business-tech journalist, she's held influential roles at MacWEEK, Wired, Upside, Interactive Week, Bloomberg News and Forbes, covering Apple and tech companies. In addition, she's president of the Daily Bruin Alumni Network, which supports the work of student journalists at the UCLA Daily Bruin, and is also a member of the board of advisors for the Center for Ethical Leadership in Media, hosted by the University of Texas, Austin. She holds a BA from UCLA and a Master of Communication from Stanford University. An avid reader and bread maker, Connie most appreciates the interviews she's done over her career with tech and entertainment notables, from Black Panther's Chadwick Boseman and Zoe Saldana, to Apple co-founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, to women leaders including Sheryl Sandberg and Carol Bartz.
