Allison Richardson is a Program Manager for Privacy and External Data Sharing at Capital One, where she leverages her expertise in data governance and privacy while serving as a team lead. In this role, she champions the creative use of AI to drive innovation while effectively managing AI-related risks in data governance practices, third-party data sharing, and privacy management.

Before her tenure at Capital One, Ms. Richardson was the Strategic Program Manager at Dynamic Integrated Services, where she consulted for the Department of Veterans Affairs. She provided strategic guidance for the VA Privacy Team, focusing on improving the privacy posture of the VA. Ms. Richardson also served as the Program Manager at the Public Policy Institute at AARP, where she led team efforts in CCPA compliance and the review of data collection processes.

Ms. Richardson is a PMP-certified project manager and a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned her BS. She also holds an MA in Communications and Marketing from Purdue University. Additionally, she has obtained CIPP/US and CSM certifications. Ms. Richardson is a board member of the DC Chapter of Women in Security and Privacy (WISP) and is actively involved in several organizations, including United Women in Business, Tech Ladies, and the Beacon Mentorship Program. In her free time, she enjoys connecting with her family in Michigan and maintaining an active lifestyle.
